Alhamdulillah. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
My name is Jimmy. For many years, I’ve had the privilege of working in humanitarian program management across places facing hardship and crisis, including Palestine, Yemen, Sudan, Malawi, India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
In 2016, while I was in Myanmar supporting Rohingya families in displacement camps as the ethnic cleansing started to build up, a few friends from the United States asked if I could help arrange their Sadaqah locally. I agreed. What I witnessed left a deep mark on me.
Many families in the camps had not seen meat for months. When the Sadaqah Zabiha arrived, some of them wept. I shared simple photos and updates with my friends, and their response was overwhelming gratitude, not just for the act itself, but for how quickly and transparently it was carried out.
That moment revealed a clear gap. Traditional charity systems often struggled to provide timely delivery, clear reporting, and human dignity at the same time. Yet when the same service was handled with the discipline and care of a proper business operation, the impact multiplied.
I also noticed something else. Local volunteers were able to earn daily wages, and they too shared in the meat. When Qurbani season arrived, more friends reached out, and the model continued to grow. It wasn’t just about fulfilling a religious obligation. It was about creating a system that worked for everyone involved.
Over time, this approach evolved further. We supported families in Myanmar to start small goat farms, purchasing animals back at fair market prices. This created a simple but powerful cycle. Those in need became suppliers, workers earned income, and families received fresh meat with dignity. A true win for all.
Aqiqah USA was built on this foundation. Faith-driven, service-oriented, and accountable. I am deeply grateful to Allah for allowing this work, and to you for being part of this journey of sharing rizq with those who deserve it most.
JazakAllah khair from the bottom of my heart.
